Foshan City is situated in the mid-southern part of Guangdong, the central region of the Pearl River Delat.
Foshan is a well-known cultural city with a long history. As early as in the Qin and Han Dynasties, there were already clusters of villages inhabited on some scale by farming and fishing people. According to some local records, in the Reign of Zhengguan of the Tang Dynasty (628 AD), three Buddha Statues were dug out on Tapo Hill in the urban district. A stone slab was erected there calling this Foshan (Buddha Hill), hence came the name. As it was developed in handicraft, commerce and culture, the products there were quite well-known. So it was listed as one of the four famous towns in the country-Kankou of Hubei, Jingdezhen of Jiangxi, Zhuxianzhen of Henan and Foshan of Guangdong.
Foshan is a historical famous city at the state level, and it has been appraised as "China's Fine Tourist City". There are over 20 places of sites of stone tools and shell heaps of the Neolithic Age, and also ancient Han tomb groups, Tang and Song kilns, Qing residences and mansions on large scale, and many old residences of celebrities, ancient temples, ancient pagoda, and ancient inscribed slabs corridors. The Ancestor's Temple of Foshan, old ovens in southern style, Donghua Lane, and the old residence of Kang Youwei (Nanhai City) are key protected unit of relics at the state level. Liang's Garden of Foshan, and Shunde Qinghui Garden are listed as two of the four famous gardens in Guangdong. The Huang Feihong (Kongfu Master) Memorial Hall, Xiqiao Mountain of Nanhai, Peach Garden of the South, Jun An Ecological Garden of Shunde, Li Xiaolong (Bruce Lee) Memorial Hall, Ancestor's Temple at Lubao of Sanshui, the Lotus World, Xiawen Farming Village at Gaoming, and Yangmai Eco-Tourist Area are the hot spots for sightseeing and leisure enjoyment. The dynamic tourist items like Autumn Tints, ceramic plastic art, paper-cut and martial arts, Dragon Boats and Lion Dance may provide the unique features of Lingnan culture and the scenes of waterside villages.

1.One-year or six-month renewable contract with a monthly basic salary of RMB6000 to 6500 depending upon one's qualifications and experience, to work a maximum of 96 class hours per month (average maximum 24 hours /week). One class hour is calculated as 50 minutes. Small size class of maximum 8-20 students (3yrd-adult) for each level. Spacious hall and bright classrooms, which are fully equipped with carpeting and air-conditioners.
2. Air fare reimbursement altogether (two-way) up to RMB8000.
3. Two successive days off per week.16 days paid public holiday: 7 days in May, 7 days in October, 1 day for New Year, 1 day for Christmas. Taking optional summer & winter vacations as unpaid holiday, each length at least for 2 weeks.

Qualifications Desired:

2. A responsible, patient, active, punctual, honest and creative individual.
3. Able to adjust to an communicative English teaching system designed by the school, to take a 5-hour training program upon commencement of employment, focusing on class techniques, planning and activities.
4. Pair and /or experience in TEFL and/or education (especially in teaching children and/or similar experience) is preferred.
