Founded in 1959 and located in Nanchang city, the capital city of Jiangxi province, is a higher learning university of medical science and pharmacology in Jiangxi. There are altogether four campuses, covering a total area of 1.54 square km. The university has a gross asset of 951 million Yuan (RMB), 7.5 million Yuan (RMB) worth of teaching and researching apparatus, 520,000 volumes of books.  It also boasts the National Pharmaceutical Engineering Center for Solid Preparation in Chinese Herbal Medicine, the Laboratory for the Modern Preparation of Chinese Herbal Medicine as the key ministry level laboratory, one Postdoctoral Working Station, several key TCM disciplines and specialties accredited by the State Administration of TCM, one ministry level research base for the TCM clinical pharmacology, several key provincial level disciplines and one garden of medicinal plant and animals, etc. In September 2003, the university established in Hongkong SAR a Teaching Center, in which the first batch of the students have begun their studies.

The university comprises departments in TCM, Pharmacy, Orthopedics, Traumatology, Acupuncture, and Moxibustion to name a few and 15 institutes engaged in the research of TCM basics, TCM clinics, TCM respiratory, dermatology and so on.  It offers bachelor programs in 24 majors, covering the fields of medicine, science, engineering, humanity, economics and law and 19 master programs in nearly all areas of TCM and pharmacology. The university has also been granted to accept doctorate degree students in association with other universities and institutes within the country.  More than 10,000 students are currently studying under different disciplines. There are four affiliated hospitals having more than 2000 beds and one affiliated pharmaceutical manufacturer with an annual sale of over 1 billion yuan (RMB). These affiliated units have become an important part of our ongoing research in medical & educational practices.

The university boasts strong teaching force with over 300 staff holding senior professional titles, among whom, 9 are doctorate degree mentors and 152 are master degree mentors. There is a large group of TCM experts from our university who have been invited to teach and deliver medical skills abroad and enjoy international reputations both at home and abroad. Our distinguished experts include: Respiratory and Allergic Disease Expert Hong Guang Xiang, Digestive System Disease Expert Yang Fu Guo, Nephrologist Pi Chi Heng, Febrile Disease Expert Chen Ruichun, and Internal Medicine Expert Wu Bing Chai and Pharmaceutical Experts Fan Cuisheng & Chen Qi. The university enjoys an excellent reputation for its research and treatment of the following diseases: Bronchial Asthma, Hyperlipedemia, Hepatitis B, Chronic Glomerulonephritis, Chronic Renal Failure, Diabetes, Apoplexy, Hemiparalysis, Rheumatic Arthritis, Dermatosis, Adiposis Simplex, Baldness, Throat Disease, and Sexual Disorders.

The university is designated by the State Education Ministry as one of the first 200 higher learning institutes eligible for the recruitment of international students. It is also authorized by the State Health Ministry as the International Education Base for TCM in Jiangxi Province. Since the foundation, the university has already accepted more than 300 long-term and short-term students from more than 20 countries and regions including Sweden, Korea, Japan, USA, Canada, Syria, Hongkong, Taiwan and Macao.  It has also established long-term cooperative relationships with medical organizations and colleges from France, Belgium, the United States, Sweden, Korea, Australia, Tunisia and Taiwan. Through years of practice, the university is experienced in teaching the international students in different foreign languages including English, French, Japanese and Korean.  Advanced Tele-education combined with multimedia has also been adopted in teaching.

The university offers a rich educational experience for both students and visiting scholars. Students and visiting scholars from abroad are always welcome to study and carry out scientific research at the university.

Notice: The tuition refers to the standard tuition fee for those who study in the same
class with Chinese student(not including advanced students and students learning Chiness). An extra $500 per person will be charged for a separate class(of at least five students)

1. The tuition for the advanced training within 20 days is charged at 180 USD per week, the term less than one year paid at 550 USD per month(not include the translation fee).

2. The tuition for the Chinese Language Learning less than one year is charged at 200 USD per month.

3. The tuition for the term taken by the Advanced Trainees from H.k., Macao and TaiWan within 20 days is charged at 150 USD per week, the term less than one year charged at 350 USD per moth.
